NUTRIPLANTA 2026

Promisol took part in the XIX Iberian Symposium on Plant Nutrition —NUTRIPLANTA2026—, held from 1 to 3 July 2026 at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Granada. The event focused on positioning plant nutrition as a key tool for achieving more sustainable and resilient agriculture in the face of climate change.

Our scientific contribution focused on presenting results obtained with a biostimulant developed to improve plant responses to osmotic stress, both under single and combined stress conditions. Specifically, we presented data related to salinity stress, water stress, and the interaction between both factors, an increasingly relevant scenario in Mediterranean agricultural systems. The results highlighted the product’s potential to modulate physiological responses associated with stress tolerance, helping to preserve plant growth, water status, photosynthetic functionality, and redox balance under adverse conditions.

In addition, Promisol participated in a round table discussion devoted to the role of R&D in companies within the agrobiotechnology sector. This forum provided an opportunity to discuss knowledge transfer, the generation of robust scientific evidence, market-oriented innovation, and the regulatory and agronomic challenges involved in developing new biostimulant solutions.
