Iron chelate
Declared content (%w/w):
6% Water-soluble Iron (Fe)
3.5% Chelated Iron (Fe) by [o,o] EDDHA
pH range for which a acceptable stability of the chelated fraction is guaranteed: 4-11
Fertiliser with 6% soluble iron in water, where 58% is chelated by [o,o] EDDHA. The molecular structure of the ortho-ortho isomer of EDDHA makes it the most stable iron chelating agent at alkaline pHs or in the presence of other ions. Therefore, it is the best option for limestone soils. The use of chelates based on EDDHA allows to provide assimilable iron and helps to mobilize the iron naturally present in the soil.
Appearance = Black-red microgranules
pH (1% solution) = 7.5-9.5
In general, it is used from the beginning of sprouting until half cycle. It is preferably applied by fertigation; at a foliar dose it can be used at a rate of 300 ml / hl, always under technical advice. The doses to be used per application are the following:
Fertigation | |
Olive, citrus and fruit trees |
Nurseries: 1-3 g/plant Saplings: 5-15 g/plant Production start: 15-30 g/tree Full production: 30-50 g/tree Trees with severe chlorosis: 50-100 g/tree |
Horticultural and ornamental | 0,5-2 g/plant |
Vine |
Young: 3-5 g/plant Full production: 5-10 g/plant |
